Here is my final map for the Spon Spun festival 2020.
I created my map and the key venue illustrations using illustrator. I also included specific landmarks such as the river Sherbourne as this runs through the spon spun trail. I’ve also included the railway station as this maybe where visitors are entering from.
Using the previous years festival maps and google map I believe I was able to create an accurate representation of the area which could be followed by a visitor.
I think the map would engage the visitor on a creative level as its fun and interesting visually with the cartoon style illustrations and colour.
