To make the whole design process for our current project alot more engaging for me. I decided to combine my passions of both graphics and baking to achieve a tasty poster design.
Sticking with my theme of using physical materials to form my graphic work for this project I decided that instead of making my typography on illustrator I could take this opportunity to do something more unique.
I made gingerbread biscuits and shaped them into individual letters so I could spell out my exhibition title. I think the result of my physically making the gingerbread shaped letters made to design more interesting and striking to look as as you can see the textures and shades of the biscuits. I want to continue using materials like this throughout my project and photographing them to expand this visual language through the rest of the campaign.
