Yesterday after receiving lecture feedback, in which we were advised to do this. We scheduled a meeting for today in which we could invest time into organising the structure of the booklet and establish a clear grid. This is important in creating our booklet as because we are working in a group on different section, it would otherwise be difficult to keep consistency throughout.

As we are planning to give our booklet the characteristics of a newspaper, we have opted for a tabloid size document which we have created in InDesign. For reference on the actual format of a newspaper grid, my team member Charlie measured the grid of the guardian which he shared with the group. This helped up visualise how our newspaper could look.

We then made changes to the front cover using the grid. Liam, who designed the cover, shared his screen and we all chipped in to make improvements and suggested different trials.

This is our most up to date front cover following the grid.
