On the 24th March we had our 3rd meeting with Mike Duncan, manager of Ambleside avengers football club. We showed our Miro board which features the development we have made to the booklet, since last time we saw him. At this stage we have gathered lots of experimental visuals for the layout of our booklet spreads and cover pages.
Here are the key points of discussion I noted during our meeting.
- Change where it says ‘booklet’ on the front cover to either ‘review’ or ‘programme’.
- Mike likes the use of ‘Avengers Times’ as it makes it feel more newspaper themed.
- On the spread of the 7 cap children, he liked that we’ve incorporated the cards into it.
- Get rid of player numbers on the cards as it will cause issues between the children.
- Make posters for the coaches as well
- Mike will get us information for the coaches which will feature on cards, aswell as missing information of children’s positions.
- Begin training again next Tuesday- Mike will take new dynamic images for us to use and post them on our shared one drive
- First games back are on the 10th April and 11th April so will get some more photos then also.
- By this Friday (26th March)- Mike will get us copywriting for – Game of season, Managers review and Coaches’ statement.
- Liked the poster insert but we must remember to include the final player (Charlie Smith)
- Scheduled a meeting for next Wednesday.
