After exploring possible poster ideas we booked to speak to our representative client for the women in tech project, to talk through our progress and get his opinion. We showed him our miro board in which all of our work is shared.

We showed our initial poster designs we were currently very unsure about.

He mentioned that he liked the black and gold composition as it has a professional feel compared to the rest and offers assets that could be used across other touchpoints.

As we plan on making a series of posters, we discussed the possibility of differentiating them from one another by targeting specific technology careers on each. This would educate women to see what possible opportunities are out there for them. We discussed using different colours to represent each subject matter which would help to segregate each poster. we would also create different compositions using the wires shapes on the poster.

After this meeting me and the team felt much more self assured with the next development stages of our project and had a better vision as to where it was heading. We recorded our client feedback on our trello page.

Our next stages involve;

  • Researching different careers within the technology sector
  • Trialling with colours on our logo
  • Experimenting with poster compositions based on the existing design
  • Looking at how we can use the same visual identity across the brochure, website and social media
