During my time being a creative student, through college and now university I feel as though I’ve developed a pattern when it comes to my projects. One of my biggest weaknesses is being indecisive. I find it easy to come up with loads of ideas which I like but making the decision which one to pick I find difficult. I worry that I’ll go forward with one design and it will be unsuccessful and I’ll wish I had picked another . I also face whether things will be realistic to achieve as I feel as though while I’m still developing my skills of software I may not be capable in achieving the result I’m after, rather than finding a solution. This results with me being stuck on the ideas stage and delaying me progress into the research, experimentation and development of my projects. Therefore at times making me fall behind and getting stressed later on in the process.

On reflection to this I need to work on investing myself into one idea and move forward with it rather than wasting time on numerous ones to help me develop my work quicker and not get behind.

To ensure I feel confident with the idea I’m going forward with I’m going to ask for more critiques of my sketches and designs and advice from my classmates as well as lecturers, as I don’t often ask for help, which is another downfall of mine. Seeing from another person’s perspective who has fresh eyes on the design will be beneficial and allow me to create better standards of work.
