Todays PDP lesson was about creating a personal brand for ourselves as creative professionals. I find this task quite daunting as I’m not yet sure I have developed a style as a designer and where I fit into the industry. It was also brought to my attention during the personality test that I have a lot of self doubt which makes this process challenging.
Todays lecture helped me discover a starting point for developing my personal brand. In order to start designing my person branding I must first consider who I am as a person. I need to think about what I’m passionate about, what are my strengths and what are my values.
Using the self analysis I did at the beginning of the semester I began to write a list of things which define me as a person in hope of finding inspiration for my personal brand.
